We are seeking a Manager - ME to join our Batam facility (Indonesia).
Scope
Ensure all facilities, plant equipment are properly designed and maintained in terms of quality, safety, capacity, reliability and low downtime at economical cost by initiatives and activities of routing repairing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and continuously improvement to support Key business objectives of KEMET Batam Plant.
Major Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall maintenance of manufacturing equipment and utilities of the facility
  • Lead maintenance organization development strategies, both personnel and department integration
  • Manage maintenance resources to support production. Maintain availability on 24 hour per day call basis with effective backup from maintenance department
  • Supervise the development and implementation of procedures and systems to maintain facility in safe, efficient and cost effective manner
  • Responsible for maintenance scheduling, resolving issues, tracking work orders and advising on deployment of maintenance and contract personnel
  • Design and implement processes and systems in support of TPM Program
  • Lead the developing of detailed equipment master files, preventive maintenance plan, daily patrol plan, and maintenance SOP for all equipment of supply chain buildings, including existing equipment and new constructed process equipment, and regularly get them updated timely
  • Manage and develop the setting up of computerized maintenance management system
  • Promote internal customer satisfaction and develop positive internal customer relationships
  • Manage and develop maintenance performance evaluation system, manage and control the maintenance execution quality of all preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to make sure all production equipment well maintained and under high reliable and stable working condition
  • Manage and develop equipment spare part plan including the inventory and sourcing plan, manage and control the spare part quality, make sure all equipment well spare part managed
  • Provide professional solution for production operation requests of process change, new process equipment or process expansion, strictly following management of change process, update the drawings/documentations related to process changes timely
  • Guide and provide professional technical support to maintenance technicians for daily preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, manage and control the production down time by equipment failure, leads root cause analysis, and organize regular on the job training about equipment failure mode to develop maintenance team’s troubleshooting capability
  • Support to engineering team for product transfer, new processes design, construction, commissioning, start-up, and cooperate the hand-over training to maintenance team, and further PM plan, maintenance SOP and spare parts plan
  • Maintenance cost and utility cost control including external maintenance service cost and spare part cost
  • Conduct regular communication meeting among maintenance, production, planning and engineering team to update the status of equipment down time, PM activity and work orders
  • Provide monthly maintenance report and identify opportunities for improvement continuously
Education & Experiences
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical
  • 10+ years maintenance experiences in manufacturing environment and at least 5 years in managerial position
  • Working experience in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and TS16949 environmental manufacturing is preferred
  • Working experiences in American/European invested company is preferred.
Minimum Skill Required
  • Good command of English
  • Good PC skill, especially on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skill
Critical Skill Required
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills on equipment related issue
  • Capable for AutoCAD or Solid-works and be able to design new machines and/or tooling
  • Be able to PLC programmer
  • Good at systematical maintenance on production equipment and facility equipment
  • Excellent understanding and skill of Engineering design, structure of automated equipment and execution in manufacturing.
